Job Description:

Tall Maple Systems is looking for individuals who want to work with other emerging startups where your contribution makes a difference. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can innovate and collaborate with the rest of the small, but experienced engineering team. The tasks are wide ranging, from development on the core libraries, to OS work (including porting Samara to new operating systems), from various networking issues to performance work.

Technical Requirements:

• C/C++ Programming Experience
• Advanced Linux/Unix programming experience
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking Protocols including HTTP, FTP, SNMP, SSL, IP Routing Protocols
• Good understanding of network and system security
• Knowledge of web design technologies: TCL, HTML, XML, SQL
• GUI development experience a plus
• Experience in Linux/Unix build environments a plus

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Master's Degree a plus
